Hi there!
I am a multi-faceted theatre artist who grew up in rural Nebraska. My love for performing began at the ripe age of three, after watching Barbie of Swan Lake over and over again in my living room. I soon found myself in a ballet class, which started my lifelong love affair with the arts.
In 2019, I was honored to be a National Nominee for the Jimmy Awards, representing the Nebraska Theatre Academy for my portrayal of Eliza Doolittle in
My Fair Lady
. Through NHSTA, I’ve also gotten to perform alongside Broadway legends like Brian d’Arcy James, Alexander Gemignani, and Norm Lewis in various concert settings. Most recently I performed at the Entertainment Community Fund Gala as part of the Jimmy Awards Alumni choir (ahh!)
I hold a BFA in Musical Theatre from Nebraska Wesleyan University, where I kept myself busy both onstage and behind the scenes. Some of my favorite roles there were Linda Mason in
Holiday Inn
, Bridget in the world premiere of
A Long Line of McKinney Women
, The Cat in the Hat in
Seussical
, and Gynecia in
Head Over Heels
. Offstage, I directed
The Verge
by Susan Glaspell, choreographed
Little Women
, and was the assistant music director, choreographer, and director for
Into the Woods
, among other projects!
Since graduating, I’ve choreographed productions for both my former high school and local community theatre. I also had the privilege of returning to NHSTA as an adjudicator for the awards showcase for two years. It was such an honor and full-circle experience that allowed me to give back to the communities that shaped me as an artist!
I recently celebrated my one-year anniversary living in New York City, I've been auditioning, seeing shows, and taking classes in the city that inspires me every single day. Most recently, I had the pleasure of performing as Annleigh in
We Are the Tigers
at The Provincetown Playhouse—this production marked the first and only staging since its Off-Broadway run in 2019, and the show is now licensed as a result of our work.
Outside of performing, I enjoy solving puzzles, hosting game nights, exploring the outdoors, watching guilty-pleasure reality TV with my roommates, and being a cat mom!
I can't wait to share what's next...some exciting things are in the works!
